Although I sat in the bar the service was fast and attentive. Therefore the service was spectacular. The ambiance is nice and subtle. The food was exquisite. I ordered the calamari and shrimp as an appetizer and it was done to perfection. The temperature was on point. My entree was shrimp and grits and OMG I must say it was the best. This place is a must-try if you are in downtown Atlanta. You won't be disappointed.

I absolutely loved this meal! I literally texted my friends in the middle of dinner and said if we ever go to Atlanta, we are coming here for dinner. The restaurant has an upscale feel to it, nice bar, and just good atmosphere. Staff was friendly and took care of our larger party of 20+. We got an array of appetizers, although I didn't have any (I wanted to save room for my meal) everyone at the table enjoyed. I was absolutely obsessed with the caesar salad, so good! For dinner I got the filet. We did a preselected menu so not sure if the mashed potatoes and veggies come with all steaks. My steak had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The star of the show was the mac and cheese for me! It was so freaking good, I didn't even get a picture. So the mac & cheese is a must when you go. I loved this place and hope to come back one day!

The guy at my hotel recommended this place. It's what you would expect for a downtown steakhouse... $60 ribeye, all sides are extra. No sides are included, but the wedge salad, the ribeye, the mac & cheese were all good. $18 martini was good, but you are definitely paying for the location. Service was OK, not stellar though. Had to ask for water twice.

Very beautiful restaurant, very professional staff. One thing that was noticeable was I sat at the bar and Steven the bartender made me an expresso martini and unlike most restaurants or bars he grabbed the beans with a device instead of his hands. Lol. Simple detail but very considerate. I would come back. I thought I'd spend less than $50 for lunch but it's all good. It was worth it.

I would highly recommend Rays in the City if you are looking for amazing seafood. We started with a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and it was perfectly chilled and so fresh. My wife and I both had the scallops and risotto for our entree and we both were very happy with our choice. The scallops were delicious and cooked to perfection! The butternut squash risotto was amazing and very filling. We decided to go ahead and see if we had room for dessert and I'm so glad we did! The sweet potato cheesecake is epic!!! One of the best dessert choices I can remember in a long time!

We stopped by Ray's in the City for their happy hour selection. We came in for the wagyu burger that we saw on Yelp from February 2024, but they actually don't serve that or the chicken sandwich anymore. However, we decided to stay and sat at the bar as the restaurant had a really fun vibe. Our server was attentive and consistently checked on us. We started with the happy hour BBQ shrimp on a grit cake. For just $10, we got an incredible dish. The grit cake was a very unique take on the city's classic grits. It was smothered in a subtly spicy butter sauce and the grilled shrimp were fantastic. We ended up getting a she crab soup off of the regular dinner menu. It was also good, but nothing mind blowing. We ended the night with the warm lemon butter cake. The cake was truly molten inside and paired so well with the ice cream and blueberry compote. Simply delicious! Highly recommend Ray's in the City, even if it's just for happy hour. The food, presentation, and service was excellent.

Walked into the restaurant around 1:30pm and sat at the bar. My crab cake was absolutely delicious! Service was prompt and I enjoyed the ambiance of the bar being separate from the restaurant.
